What this tool does

Before you start

Repair is best-effort and cannot recover missing or unreadable data. Severely damaged and password-protected files may still fail.

The file is read and processed by this page on your device. It is never uploaded to FormatOtter or handed to a third-party conversion service. Large documents may take a moment because your browser is doing the actual work.
